Ramgnote
Privacy policy
Your notes are personal. This policy explains what Ramgnote processes on your iPhone, when information may go to Apple services, and the choices you have.

Records on your device
Ramgnote stores note text, categories, place names and addresses you enter, saved coordinates, creation and edit times, selected photo copies, and storage/sync identifiers in app-private storage. Drafts and recovery inputs help preserve unfinished writing. App preferences and an iCloud identity mapping keep settings and record spaces separate. There is no separate Ramgnote sign-up. A configured iCloud connection can check account availability even before record syncing is enabled.
Selected photos
The system photo picker gives the app the photos you choose. Ramgnote creates app-owned JPEG copies, applies orientation and resizes images; it does not copy original EXIF, GPS or IPTC metadata into those copies. The original in Apple Photos is not deleted when you remove an attachment. Up to six photos can be attached to a note. The current version does not provide video attachment or in-app camera capture.
Location and nearby reminders
With permission, coordinates, accuracy and observation time are used to attach a location or compare saved facilities on your device. Automatic reminders are optional and require Always location, Precise Location and notification permission. When enabled, location can be used while the app is not in the foreground. Per-place nearby/away/notification times and reminder settings are kept locally to prevent repeat alerts; notification groups expire after 24 hours and are cleaned up when the app can run. This does not detect individual indoor shops or floors. You can turn reminders off in the app and change permissions in iPhone Settings. Manual writing remains available without these permissions.
Apple maps and place searches
MapKit displays maps. Place searches send the entered query and search region to Apple. For an Apple place linked by reference, the app saves its place ID and your alias, then requests current details from Apple when you open it. That reference can be included with a synced note. Apple-reference places currently do not support arrival reminders. Places you mark directly are stored separately with their coordinates. Naver search is not connected in the current configuration.
Optional iCloud record sync
Where configured and available, syncing starts only after you review the scope and agree. Existing saved notes, place data and coordinates, trash records, deletion history and sync metadata in the current iCloud record space are sent to your private CloudKit database. Drafts, recovery inputs, device-only records and another account’s records are not automatically transferred. Account identifiers are used to keep record spaces separate. Consent applies to the current app run and account. Turning sync off or changing accounts stops it but does not delete data already sent. iCloud storage limits and connectivity affect syncing; a local save or a connected status is not confirmation of remote backup.
Photo sync has a separate gate
Photo attachment works locally. Photo cloud sync is not enabled in the current normal app configuration. Its separate consent screen describes the scope for a supported configuration: photos attached to saved notes and trash in the current iCloud space, including existing photos, but not drafts or other record spaces. If enabled in a supported version, it uses iCloud storage and network data; stopping it also stops the record sync session and does not erase previously uploaded photos. Check the status of each note rather than assuming every photo has uploaded.
Siri and Lock Screen visibility
Siri/App Shortcuts pass the requested note text to the app. The app opens in the foreground and requires device unlock; it does not store a separate voice recording. Apple handles Siri under its settings and policies. Nearby notifications show counts rather than note bodies. You may explicitly start a Live Activity and choose whether to display a note excerpt for that session. Place names can still appear when the body is hidden. People near your Lock Screen may see this information. Ending an activity does not delete the note. Automatic Island/APNs relay is not an active service.
Retention and deletion
Saved notes remain until you delete them. Trash can be restored within 30 days or permanently deleted earlier. Explicit drafts expire 30 days after creation; expired items and unreferenced photo copies are removed when the app can process storage. Recovery inputs can remain until they are saved, discarded or their related record is removed. Deletion markers and sync metadata may remain to prevent deleted content from returning. Sync must run successfully for remote deletion changes to propagate. Switching accounts retains earlier local spaces. Deleting the app or turning sync off does not erase iCloud copies or system backups. Manage Apple services in your device settings; support cannot promise immediate deletion of every Apple-managed backup.
Protection and other services
Ramgnote separates record spaces and uses iOS file protection. These measures are not a claim of end-to-end encryption or a separate app password. Apple operates iCloud, Maps and Siri; their processing is also governed by Apple’s policies. The current app configuration has no connected advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDK, and no separate app account server or automatic Island relay. Future advertising or new transfers require an updated policy and any necessary choices before activation. Questions, choices and updates
Contact 송희섭 at admin@aroido.com about access, correction, deletion or stopping processing. We can explain steps for device/iCloud records without asking for your Apple ID password. We cannot inspect every device-only record or guarantee restoration of unsynced content. If you email us, your sender address, message and any attachments you choose to send are handled to answer and resolve the request. We announce material changes on this page and update the effective date.
We retain inquiry emails and attachments only as long as needed to handle the inquiry. Once that purpose is fulfilled, we delete information no longer needed without undue delay, except where retention is required by law.
